The SA National Editors’ Forum is shocked at the arrest of three press photographers and the manhandling of one of them yesterday by police at Musina, Limpopo, and their being detained for 45 minutes, preventing them from carrying out their duties to take pictures of 11 people accused of being members of a rhino poaching syndicate

SANEF delighted at withdrawal of charges against Mzilikazi wa Afrika

The SA National Editors’ Forum welcomes the provisional withdrawal of charges of fraud and forgery and uttering against Sunday Times journalist Mzilikazi wa Afrika by the National Prosecuting Authority on grounds that the police investigation does not disclose sufficient grounds for proceedings with the case.
